Well Hello!
It’s finally here! And, I’m a little, just a bit, wigged out by the whole idea of presenting my art this way. Sharing it and sending into the world, that’s the easy part, or even selling onesies - twosies, done that too. This, this organized, and dare I say beautifully presented, show and sale feels very different.

I’ve been sharing the progress of the latest series, and now the time is here to send it on its way. We had a fun virtual art party last week (it was recorded, I’ll share that as soon as it’s ready) and someone asked me if it was hard for me to sell/release my art. For me, the answer is no - I’m a “let-go” kind of person and once I’m finished with a piece it can go into the world to make its way and serve its purpose. Funny, that’s the easy part for me!

As for selling art, I’ve done that for years too. But, one or two at a time in an informal way. This is the first time I’ve worked with someone to put together a fully formed show and sale and it’s such a change. Because it’s different, it feels more exciting and even a little unsettling. But, in the spirit of exploring unknown territory in creating by venturing into the new, I offer to you my latest work: El Circo de Animales Extraños.

The show organizer, Creatopia, has put together an amazing online shop with all the originals plus prints and some other cool things. It’s one of my long-time dreams to have a whole collection like this. Have a look around and let me know what you think!
